Baby Hollis {36 weeks}

I am 37 weeks today!
That means Hollis is considered FULL TERM!
WAHOOO!
Ross and I are so thankful that Hollis is still hanging out in my belly!

The belly continues to grow…
which IS the whole point of pregnancy – to grow a baby.
But for me, this is HUGE!
and even though it is virtually impossible for me to get comfortable,
I am loving every second of growing another life inside of me!

{36 weeks}

I had a doctor appointment last Tuesday for a BPP and to get my cerclage removed.
Hollis passed the BPP again receiving an 8/8!
We are so thankful she is doing so well!
…but we were unable to get any good ultrasound pictures of her this week…
she just wasn’t feeling a photo shoot that day!

{36 weeks 3 days}

The second the cerclage was removed, I immediately dilated from 1cm to 3cm.
But Hollis decided to stay put!

I have been taking it easy since the removal of my cerclage and am so thankful to have Ross who is amazingly supportive and who has been completely running our house since last Tuesday! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and daddy for our children!

{36 weeks 5 days}

This week I have been VERY uncomfortable.
Lots of contractions (obviously Braxton Hicks), back pain, etc!
I am not sleeping at night and have NO energy…
Thank goodness I am able to lounge around in my PJ’s all day and take it easy!
So, when I went to see Dr. Keeton on Friday morning for a NST and to get checked,
I was CONVINCED I would be at least 4cm dilated and Hollis would arrive this weekend…
NOT the case!

{36 weeks 6 days}

I am still 3cm dilated!!!
(Honestly I am kind of relieved because I know the longer she stays put, the better!)

… The wait is on!…

Labor & Delivery Nurse {Gift Baskets}

I thought it would be so nice to take a little something to share with the all of the nurses at Labor & Delivery and Post Partum! Nurses work LOOOONG hours and often do not get the credit they deserve, so it is important to me that they know how much we appreciate their hard work to keep Hollis and I safe and healthy!

labor and delivery nurse gift basket tutorial

I went to the store and bought items that are packaged and will last a fairly long time.

labor and delivery nurse gift basket tutorial

Then I made this cute printable, glued it to a popsicle stick and added a bow!

labor and delivery nurse gift basket tutorial

I found the baskets at Hobby Lobby for 50% off!
I think they were less than $5 a piece!
Then I added big felt bows to each basket!

labor and delivery nurse gift basket tutorial

Once the baskets were filled with goodies, I stuck the Thank You Printable in between inner and outer edges of the basket!
That way it can be easily removed and the nurses can use the baskets for other things later on!

labor and delivery nurse gift basket tutorial

See how they stick right in there?!

labor and delivery nurse gift basket tutorial

This was a simple way to say “thank you" to all of the nurses who will be taking care of Hollis and me!

I would love to know how you say “thank you” to the nurses who take care of you and your baby or other family members who are in the hospital!

Packing for the Hospital {JIAD Style}

Since this is my third time packing for a hospital trip to have a baby,
I thought I could share some tips today with you on what I pack and why!

Ok, because packing for the new baby is SOOOO much fun,
here are some things I am taking for Hollis to the hospital.

Packing for Hospital Baby List

1. Cute newborn hats!
(The hospital ones are ok for when they are JUST born… but as soon as they are cleaned up, I like to put my babies is cute hats!)
(Buy these cute newborn hats from Infanteenie Beenie)

2. Onesies and gowns are a must!
(Make sure to pack plenty of outfits because newborns potty a lot and the diapers never seem to fit well around my babies’ super skinny thighs… so that means lots of leaks!)
Don’t forget a special coming home outfit!

3. Diapers and Wipes case to keep in Hollis’s bassinet.
(They provide diapers and wipes at our hospital, so I do not take diapers and wipes with us, just cute cases to keep them in!)

4. Lovies.
(For each of my babies, I start sleeping with their lovies a few months before they are born. That way they smell like me and if for some reason we are separated, they can have their lovies with them! – This came in very handy when Cliff was born since he went straight to the NICU… and yes, his lovies went with him!)

Make sure to take a few burps to clean up any mishaps that may occur!

Packing for Hospital Baby List

{Burp Cloth Tutorial}

And don’t forget baby blankies and swaddles!
(The hospital blankets are not my favorite…)

Packing for Hospital Baby List

(Purchase a personalized blanket from The Monogrammed Marketplace)

Of course, you will need a car seat for the baby to ride in when it’s time to go home!

Packing for Hospital Baby List

(Purchase a cute car seat cover from SewCuteInAZ)

A nursing cover is also a good thing to take for when visitors come by and you are nursing the baby!

Packing for Hospital Baby List

{Purchase this nursing cover pattern from Ruffled Begonia – be on the lookout for this nursing pattern giveaway soon!}

Speaking of nursing,
here are a few breastfeeding essentials that will accompany us to the hospital:

Packing for Hospital Baby List

{Purchase the Personalized Nursing On Demand Printable from JIAD on Etsy!}

Let’s start from the left and work our way to the right!

1. Medela tender care hydrogel pads are the BEST thing EVER, especially the first week or so when your nipples are sore.
(The lactation consultants at the hospital gave me a TON of these after Cliff & Harper were born, so I will ask them for some again, but I am packing these just IN CASE they are out of them!)

2.I always take a little notebook to write down when the baby nurses, which side she started on, how long on each side, when she poops and tee tees also! I record all of this for at least the first few months…totally OCD, I know!
(This time, I also downloaded a nursing app that records all of this for me, but I like to save these little notebooks in their baby books!)

3.Lansinoh HPA Lanolin is a MUST the first few months of nursing!
(The nurses usually have plenty little trail sizes of this, but I am taking it just in case!)

4.Nursing Pads go with me to the hospital too!
(My milk usually doesn’t come in until I get home, but I always take a few just in case!)

5.A cute sign to put in the baby’s bassinet so if they HAVE to go to the nursery for some reason, the nurses will know NOT to give her a paci or bottle!
(I exclusively  nurse my babies on demand so this is VERY important to me)

I also recommend taking a Boppy too!

Packing for Hospital Baby List

I also take presents for the older siblings from the new baby!
(These gifts also happen to have the ability to provide some serious entertainment while I am nursing the new baby!)
A little gift makes the older ones feel special!

137

Wanna see what’s inside?!

Packing for Hopsital2

A cute door hanger for the hospital door is also a must on my list!
I wanted something different from the standard bow with the baby’s stats on it this time,
so I made this:

Packing for Hospital Baby List

Isn’t it fun?!

Packing for Hospital Baby List

I am also taking gift baskets for the nurses stations at Labor and Delivery and Post Partum! Nurses work SO hard and rarely get the credit they deserve,
so I wanted to bring them a little something special to say “thank you!”

Packing for Hospital Baby List

{details on these are coming soon!}

Ok, now it’s time to see what I am packing for me:

Packing for Hospital Baby List

1. Comfy, nursing friendly dresses and my favorite nursing gown EVER!
I like to pack dresses because I feel better when I am “dressed.”
These are very light and comfortable and I don’t know about your, but I do not want to wear anything tight for a while after baby is born!

2. Toiletries – toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, my Chi hair straightener, my big round brush, deodorant, hair ties, makeup, lotion, etc.

3. Shoes and my “shower flip flops!”
(yes, showers that are in hospitals and hotels FREAK me out… so I have flip flops just for showering in these places)

This is one of the most important things we are bringing to the hospital with us:

005

Yes, we are banking Hollis’s cord blood.

WAIT!
I know you are thinking I forgot a few things…

What about undies?!
I wear those super HIDEOUS but super comfy mesh ones they give you at the hospital!
Yes, they are the most unattractive undies EVER, but who want’s to ruin cute undies after having a baby?! Not me!

What about pads?!
I use those GIANT ones they give you at the hospital for the few days we are there, then once we are home, I use “normal” pads.

Here are a few things I pack that are not pictured:
Purse and wallet with ID, insurance, cash, etc in it.
Medela Nursing Bras.
My pillow.
PJ’s.
Camera, video camera and chargers for both.
Snacks.
Phone charger.
Laptop and charger.
A robe (even though it will most likely stay in the bag since it’s sooo HOT here).

I think that’s about it!

What do you pack in your hospital bag when you have a baby?!?

UPDATE:
Totally forgot to mention a few KEY items for baby that a reader shared in a comment… OOPSIES!

Take the baby book with you!
That way the nurse can stamp baby’s feet prints right in the book and I always write in them during labor!

You will also need:
a baby nail file
(I like these over clippers because I am always scared that I will cut their little finger tips off with the clippers at first)

Cutest {BURP} On The Block! {tutorial}

I shared this tutorial last week over at This Crazy Blessed Life!
I am reposting it here just in case you missed it!

Today,
I am going to share with you how I made Hollis’s burps!

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

To make a super cutie burp you will need:
Thread
Cloth Diaper (Gerber makes packs of 10 that can be found at Target or Walmart)
Sewing machine
Scissors
Iron
Ribbon, Ric Rac, Pom Poms, etc.
(any trim you would like to use to pretty up your burp)
Wash and dry your cloth diapers.
They will all shrink differently, so this is VERY important!

Measure your cloth diaper, cut your fabric adding 3 inches to the length and 6 inches wide.
(I usually end up cutting my fabric about 21 inches long by 6 inches)
Iron the long sides of your fabric down about 1/4 of an inch.

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

Then iron the ends of the fabric 1/4 of an inch.

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

If you want to applique or monogram your burp, now is the time!
I like to iron the edges THEN add the applique or have the fabric monogrammed because you can see the edges of the fabric and be able to place the name/initials accordingly.
FIY: make sure that your monogram is about 2-3 inches away from the short edge!

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

Now place your fabric face down and then lay the cloth diaper on top.
Fold the ends over the burp cloth and iron into place.

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

It should look like this:
At this point, it would be super smart to pin the fabric into place…
I was lazy and totally winged it…

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

Top stitch one of the short ends.
(Don’t forget to  backstitch!)

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

Then stitch both long sides into place.

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

At this point, I like to flip the burp over and top stitch the remaining short end.

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

Now you have a super cute burp!

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

If you want to make your super cute burp FABULOUS,
add pom poms, ric rac, ribbon, ruffles or a cute fabric flower!
I add these AFTER the basic burp is complete!

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

If it’s gonna wipe up spit… it may as well be cute, right?!
Here are a few I made for my baby, Hollis, who will arrive in early August:

burp cloth tutorial, cute burp cloth, how to make a burp cloth

Seriously,
these are so simple to make and are the perfect gift for a new baby!

Who wouldn’t want their baby to have the cutest burps on the block?!

Baby Update {35 weeks}

I cannot believe I am 36 weeks pregnant today!
That means NINE months pregnant.
I swear we just found out yesterday that Hollis was going to join our family…
where HAS the time gone?!

This week I have been feeling a lot of pressure… sometimes to the point where I can’t even stand up or walk because it hurts so bad.
On Tuesday, Dr. Keeton checked me and told me I was 1 cm dilated with my cerclage in.
She said we would recheck on Friday and see if it needs to come out then or next week.

(sorry for the bad pics… the were all taken on my phone)

IMG_3441a

{35 weeks 3 days}

Harper MAY be warming up to the idea of Hollis…
just a teeny bit.
She has been playing baby a lot lately and she has finally agreed that I can nurse Hollis!
(Harper is strangely possessive of my “nursery nees” even though she has not nursed in 16 months…)

IMG_3448a

{35 weeks 3 days}

Everyone that knew me when I was pregnant with Cliff and Harper cannot believe how big my belly is this time around!
Seriously, it is HUGE for me!

IMG_3487

{35 weeks 4 days}

This week Hollis passed the BPP with flying colors!
YAY!

IMG_3432

{35 weeks 3 days}

And she also passed the NST!
I am so proud of her “good” behavior this week!

IMG_3523

{35 weeks 6 days}

Dr. Keeton checked me again today and I am still 1 cm dilated and there was no change since Tuesday!
So, the cerclage will stay in until next week!
YAY!

IMG_3533

{35 weeks 6 days}

This week Hollis would not let us see her face…
surprise, surprise…
but we were able to see other things:
(sorry these are are horrible quality… I forgot my DVD this week and so I took phone pictures of the ultrasound pictures…)

Here is Hollis’s ear!

IMG_3548

{35 weeks 3 days}

And her foot!

IMG_3550

She really liked showing off her feet… So here is another foot picture:

IMG_3551

Hollis’s hair seems to have grown even longer!
Yay for bows!

IMG_3552

{35 weeks 3 days}

We were able to see her adorable profile in 2D this week!

IMG_3549

{35 weeks 3 days}

Here are Hollis’s STATS at 35 weeks 3 days:
Weight: about 6 pounds
Tummy: measured 35 weeks (46%)
Head: measured 37 weeks (95.3%)
Leg: measured 35 weeks 4 days (41.4%)
Her overall size in the 66% and measuring 36 weeks.

We are so thankful that Hollis is doing so well!
Ross and I are praying that she will stay put for a few more weeks!
I can’t wait to meet her, but I know that the longer she stays in my belly, the better!
Thank you all for your prayers and support throughout this pregnancy!

{baby Hollis} The Nursery

I am sooooo super excited to FINALLY reveal Hollis’s nursery!

I am super bummed because as most of you know, our house was broken into and my laptop was stolen… with all of the step by step pictures and tutorials for the nursery.
Booo-hoo-hoo…
..that seriously stinks because I was soooo excited to share every.single.teeny.tiny.detail with you and literally walk you through every step of decorating this nursery.

Anywho,
we must move on…
…so I will try my best to share as many tips and tutorials as I can!

Now for the BIG REVEAL!!!

One of my favorite things in the nursery is this light fixture.
I found it a Goodwill for $5!
It was brass (not a “good” brass) and seriously AWFUL!
With the help of Krylon’s Watermelon spray paint, this light fixture went from drab to FAB!
One thing I loved about this light fixture right away was the sweet flower detail on the frosted globes!

I painted the ceiling medallion with a “dry” paint brush to give it a weathered look.
I used the same paint as I did on the walls (Valspar Aqua Glow) and love the way it turned out!

I decided to hang the chevron pennant banner I made for Harper’s Bow Tie & TuTu Birthday Party above the closet in the nursery!

This sweet pink dresser was a side of the road find from about 6 years ago.

With a little Valspar Sweet Pink paint, some Krylon Ivy Leaf Spray Paint on the handles and some glass knobs, this dresser turned into the perfect dresser for a sweet little baby girl’s nursery!

I am really loving the way the dresser pops against the aqua walls!

{tutorial on the HOLLIS letters coming soon}

I decided to use everyday baby items as décor in her nursery as well!
These burps add a fun pop of color on top of the dresser and are easily accessible at the same time!

{Burp Cloth Tutorial coming soon!}

Above Hollis’s crib are her giant monogram!
You can purchase it here at an awesome price!
I spray painted this one using Krylon Watermelon.
I also made the crib shirt using this tutorial!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

When I walk into the nursery,
I instantly become happy!
I love the pops of pink, green and aqua!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

Above the daybed hangs two old windows that display our favorite ultrasound pictures of Hollis!
Ross removed (more like beat) the glass with a hammer then added chicken wire to the back of the window panes securing it in place with a staple gun.
I used little tiny clothes pins to display the ultrasound pictures!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

The “changing table” is an old super heavy oversized chest that I painted and distressed years ago!
Love it!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

I used a shutter that I found on the side of the road to hold Hollis’s bows!
I was surprised to find that it works GREAT!
(and just incase you are wondering… this is not even half of the bows Hollis has waiting to be worn!)

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

Of course, this is a nursery,
so I wanted to make sure to keep it fun!
I saved these fun little sock animals that were in Cliff’s nursery and decided they were perfect to hang out in Hollis’s nursery!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

I made this super fun, scrappy lamp using this tutorial.

Did you notice this guy?!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

The mobile that hangs in the nursery had a seriously fabulous tutorial ready to go!…
…on the laptop that was stolen…
Don’t worry, I am trying to recreate the tutorial for you!

{Mobile tutorial/details coming soon}

There is a local artist here called “The Chicken Man” and I knew that I wanted to use his awesome work in Hollis’s nursery!
(This one was in my room when I was in highschool!)

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

I love this happy little corner of the nursery!
See the other Chicken Man painting?!
The pink bamboo table used to be green and would you believe me if I told you it is actually a planter with a stacked basket on top?!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

This pom pom banner was super simple to make and added the perfect element of fun to the crib!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

{Pom Pom Banner tutorial coming soon}

Apparently crib bumpers are a BIG no no now…
(It’s amazing Cliff and Harper survived with their fabulously thick bumpers in their cribs…Ha!… seriously these “baby safety” rules change so fast that I am out of the loop even though I had a baby 2 years ago…)
So, I decided to forgo a bumper and applique Hollis’s monogram in the center of her crib sheet!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

I love the way it turned out!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

The cornice board was created using this tutorial.
I decided to keep this one straight since the window is so large and I added pom poms to the bottom edge too!
Would you believe me if I told you it is made out of foam board?!

aqua and pink nursery, Turquoise and pink nursery, baby girl nursery, girl nursery, nursery decor, nursery tips, how to decorate a nursery

I can’t wait to show Hollis her nursery!
(…she better stay put for about  three more weeks though!)

Paint Colors:
Wall: Valspar Aqua Glow
Dresser: Valspar Sweet Pink
Monogram, light fixture, bamboo side table: Krylon Watermelon Spray Paint
Lamp base, drawer pulls, hoop for mobile: Krylon Ivy Leaf Spray Paint

Fabrics:
Cornice board window treatment: Kumari Garden Jeevan Pink
Circle on crib sheet: Kumari Garden Tarika Moss
Crib skirt: Kumari Garden Tarika Blue

Yay for a finished nursery!
…Now what am I going to do to pass the time?!…

Baby Update {34 weeks}

I seriously cannot believe that I am 35 weeks pregnant today!
This pregnancy has FLOWN by!
Baby Hollis will be here in about 3 weeks… at the latest!
WOW!

This week I am feeling much better (physically) but I am mentally exhausted which means that my poor littles have a tired, stressed, grouchy Mama…
I am REALLY trying to have patience with them and remind myself not to take my exhaustion out on them, but sometimes I find myself snapping at them before I even have time to think!
Stupid hormones…

This week Hollis passed the BPP (ultrasound) PERFECTLY within 10 minutes!
Of course, this was the highlight of the week!

IMG_3085

{34 weeks 3 days}

My bestie, Jill and I went on a girly date, with our baby girl bumps and had
the BEST time EVER!
It was so nice to sit and chat over a fabulous meal
without being interrupted every 3 seconds!
Then we went to a movie and Jill was shocked to see that you can SEE Hollis move…
even in the DARK! Ha!

IMG_3088a

{34 weeks 3 days}

My belly is officially the biggest it has ever been!

IMG_3213

{34 weeks 5 days}

And I am so thankful!

IMG_3161a

{34 weeks 6 days}

I was so nervous about the NST this week…

IMG_3222

…thankfully with a little rolling on my side, then on my back again,
Hollis passed!

IMG_3232

This week we weren’t able to get a good picture of Hollis’s face because she had it smashed against the placenta (ewww…. I hate that word…)!

But, her heart rate was perfect, which is most important!

image

And we were able to get a picture of her cute toes!
My second toe is longer than my big toe and it looks like Hollis’s is too!

image

We are so thankful that Hollis stayed put another week and are praying she will stay put for at least three more weeks!

Be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead!

Baby Update {32 & 33 weeks}

(WARNING: This is for sure the LONGEST baby update EVER…)

I am 34 weeks today!
Yay!

IMG_2975
{34 weeks}

We are so so so SO thankful that Hollis is still growing in my belly where she belongs!
We are praying she will stay put for another 4 weeks or so!

IMG_2479

{32 weeks 2 days}

My belly is seriously the size it was when Harper was born at 37 weeks…
(Ross is having a LOT of fun with this fact… ha!)
I am so thankful that Hollis is growing and is healthy, but my back is KILLING me, I do not sleep and my belly feels like it will split open if I take in a full breath of air (not to mention eat a meal)… then there is the humid summertime southern heat and the fact that every time I bend down to pick something up off the floor I have a major contraction!
Combine all of these “issues” with raging hormones and I am a WHOLE lot of fun these days!
(Wanna come hang out with me?! LOL!)

IMG_2605

{32 weeks 4 days}

I am now going to see Doctor Keeton twice a week.
I get BPPs (Biophysical Profiles) and NSTs (Non Stress Tests) to make sure Hollis is doing well and being in my belly is a safe environment for her.
At 32 weeks, Hollis passed the BPP (ultrasound test) with a perfect score of 8/8!
Then a few days later, she did not pass the NST… so I went in for ANOTHER BPP and thankfully she passed!

IMG_2718

The highlight of the past few weeks was when I discovered I could still manage to squeeze into one of my size small dresses!
(Yes, this made me jump up and down, squealing like a school girl!)

IMG_2756

{33 weeks}

Now that the time for Hollis to arrive is seriously close,
I am making crazy, unnecessary things for her like this big bow hat…

IMG_2787

Poor Ross is struggling with his pregnancy symptoms too…
His heartburn, sciatica and weight gain are relentless!
POOR THING!
(Yea, RIGHT…)
Then one night I was on the laptop and when I looked over Ross’s shoulder I saw he was lacing a shoe lace through the little holes in Harper’s shovel.
I asked “Babe, what ARE you doing?!”
He responded “Cross stitching!”
…and I fell onto the floor then just about went into labor!
Even Mr-all-things-manly Ross is “crafting!”
(WHAT is happening to my Hubby?!)

At 33 weeks, I had another BPP (it was SUPER early in the morning hence the face…) and was thrilled when Hollis received another 8/8!
I also received two doses of Celestone Shots to help boost Hollis’s lung development just in case she arrives early!

My super sweet and dear friend McKeever monogrammed a bunch of lovies and goodies for Hollis!
She sent me this picture of one of the lovies and it made everything soooo real since Cliff and Harper both sleep with their Angel Dear lovies every night!
Thank you McKeever for the goodies and making Hollis’s lovies so special!
I am so blessed to have you as a friend!

Then came…
Happy 4th of July!

IMG_2873

{33 weeks 4 days}

And the next morning I was back at Dr. Keeton’s office for a NST…

IMG_2916

Hollis failed the NST again,
so I went back to see Dee Dee (the BEST ultrasound tech EVER) who scanned Hollis for about 45 minutes. Hollis would not practice her breathing despite me rolling on my side and Dee Dee “buzzing” my belly… so she did not pass the BPP.
Her combined score for the NST and BPP was a 6/10…

They decided I needed to grab some lunch and then have another NST…

…thankfully, this time Hollis passed (sort of) and we were cleared to go home!
YAY!
(No worries… I go back to the doctor in a few days for another BPP)

Now that we have had two weeks of Hollis not “preforming” her best,
I am CRAZY creating everything I can think of to keep myself busy and somewhat sane.
Ross has been wonderful with supporting my crafting craze because he knows this is how I channel my anxiety…
(This is not even half of it!… maybe I HAVE already lost it!)

Here are some ultrasound pictures from the past few weeks!
(I had 4 ultrasounds in 2 weeks)

Hollis has a head FULL of hair which is perfect because I have about 100 bows waiting for her to wear them!

{32 weeks 2 days}

She is so big now that sometimes only one body part is visible on the screen…
like her ear!

{33 weeks 5 days}

Dee Dee was able to capture Hollis grabbing her foot with her hand!
(The video is soooooo neat!)

33.5WKS_3

We were FINALLY able to get some decent 3D shots of Hollis last week!

33.5WKS_10

Here is a silly face!

33.5WKS_11

I can’t wait to feel this sweet hand wrap around my finger!

Seeing Hollis will NEVER get old!
I just love being able to see her so often and literally watching her grow from 4 weeks all the way until she is born!

33.5WKS_13

God is so good!
We are so thankful for everyday Hollis stays in my belly!
Thank you all for your prayers and sweet messages!

Oh yea,
and if you actually made it to the end of this post…
YOU ROCK!
(and I love you!)
