Ruffled Bottom Monogrammed Onesie!

I decided to make the Birthday Girl a Ruffled Bottom Monogrammed Onesie!
The back!
I loved it sooo much that I HAD to make one for Harper!

I am about to make one for her to wear everyday this summer!

Love! Thanks Silhouette for cutting out the circle and the initials!

And the ruffled bottom just may be my favorite thing about this onesie!

And just because I can’t get enough of that cute ruffled bottom:

The perfect birthday gift for a perfect little girl!
What?!?
You want one too?!
Well guess what will be added to The Shop soon, very very soon!
Yep, that’s Right!
Get ready because these cuties are going up for SALE so your little princess can wear one too!

Birthday Onesie!

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of making a first birthday onesie and bloomers for one of the cutest little girls ever to wear at her first birthday party!
Her super talented mama made her tutu!
Here is a close up of the outfit:
One thing  have learned from appliqueing many onesies for Harper is that the neckline HAS to have a ruffle if the onesie will be worn by a little princess! See what a difference it makes?!

Of course I had to make this cutie a gift for her first birthday!
…I’ll share that tomorrow!

My Little Fashionista.

Ever since we watched the Royal Wedding, Harper has been sporting this:
Actually she was born a fashionista, so trendy, see?!
The girl knows how to rock pretty much anything!
And of course this awesome head attire requires the perfect shoes:
So next time you see something a little different than the “norm”….
Wear it. Rock it. Own it.

A Story of the Summer Shirts!

Once Upon A Time,
I found these shirts at Walmart for $3.50 a piece!
They were cute, but needed a little something to make them fabulous, so I decided to applique them:
The crab turned out to be my favorite.
The shark is pretty cute too, though!

And I love the whale!
After 5 minutes of deliberation, the boy decided that the shark is his favorite one.
The End!

A little Refashion!

A family friend was about to toss this dress:
She decided to see what I could do with it instead and I am so glad she thought of me!
I turned it into this:
I just love it! It is super comfy and easy to wear while playing with the kids!
It kind of brings out the kid in me too:
So instead of tossing that old top or giving your old dress away, try to look at it in a different light! With a little snip and sew  you can have a whole new outfit!

PS- This seriously took me about 20 minutes, if that!

Vintage Jewelry?!

Last week I did this post.
I thought why not share with you where I have gotten most of my fun jewelry?!
From Ross’s great grandmother!
So go to your grandmother’s house and ask her if you can wear some of her old costume jewelry! She will be thrilled! It will surely bring you tons of compliments and inquires. There is just something so majestic about real vintage jewelery. It just isn’t made the same these days.
