This morning while Harper and I were at physical therapy with Cliff,
our house was broken into.
Thankfully, I noticed something was not right before bringing the littles into the house and was able to get out safely.
I am so thankful that my children and I are ok.
I am so thankful for all of the men and women who put their lives on the line on a daily basis to save ours, seriously Policemen (and women) ROCK!
My laptop was stolen along with my iPad and some jewelry…
they tried to take the tv in the den and our desktop computer, but were spooked and left with what they already had in their hands.
That being said,
all of my pictures from the last three months are on the laptop…
along with a month’s worth of blog posts (yes, I had tutorials for July already written…).
I am going to do my best to try and rewrite most of the posts, take new pictures of the steps in the tutorials I had planned to share with all of you (they were awesome, if I do say so myself!)…
So if my posts are spotty for the next few weeks,
please know that I am busy trying to recreate the things I have already created, re photographing projects and rewriting tutorials!
I appreciate your understanding, kind words and support!
Oh yea… and I’ll also be busy praying that the wonderful police officers catch that no good, piece of junk that broke into our home.

I am so glad you are safe and noticed something wasn’t right! How awful!!! I hope they catch them too to give you some peace of mind.
Just started following you and wanted to say very glad that everyone is safe. Also wanted to pass along info regarding your lost documents and pictures, I usually back my documents, pictures, etc. up on places like Dropbox, Picasa, or google doc. Makes it easy to access almost anywhere from any computer. Yahoo, Hotmail, and Google are some of the places that offers free online storage if you want to check them out.

This is starting to happen everywhere. Daytime takes alot of nerve. I guess if it was to be, better than when someone is at home. So scary. What did you notice. That might be of help to others.
I am so glad that you are all safe. So hard to expain to your children. Things can be replaced but I am sure this will take awhile to get over. Creeps. Hope they find them.

I’ve had my home broken into and quite honestly … it’s a horrible feeling… such an invasion makes it uncomfortable for a while after… so glad you and your family weren’t hurt in any way and I’ll say a prayer for peace and comfort for you all..

I seriously hope that your posessions will be recovered. So thankful that you are all ok. Our house was broken into when I was in late highschool – and the feeling of violation that goes with it is something that I will never forget. Praying that God’s peace will fill your home and take away any distressing feelings that you and your loved ones may have.

UGH, I’m so sorry this happened to you. Those disgusting pieces of crap! I’m so glad your family is safe. I hope you have nothing but good things coming your way now. And I’m also sorry your photos and hard work are gone. I know how much time goes into those post. Praying things just get better and better!
