Our “New” Kitchen!

Last fall, we painted our kitchen cabinets and the walls!
It is AMAZING what a few cans of paint can do…

Want to see what our kitchen looked like before?!
Here is a peak:
(you can find a “before” post here)

(I am not too sure why that one cabinet looks like it is a different color, but I promise it wasn’t!)

Ross and I were amazed that the brick wall had gray in it!
The Gray paint really made it POP!

On the side a cabinet hangs this fun chalkboard for the littles to play with while I am preparing meals!
I bought a mirror from Walmart, , spray painted the glass with chalkboard paint and the frame white to match the cabinets!
This is definitely a hit!

And because everything in our house is centered around the kids,
Ross’s table from when he was a little boy is in the center of our kitchen!
(Of course I am DYING to paint it… but the Hubs said NO WAY!)

Isn’t amazing how a little paint can totally transform the feeling of a room?!

The one downside of our kitchen is that there is no space for a kitchen table…
But that’s ok because now I have a street lamp in the kitchen with a fun bench!
The street lamp was purchased at Lowe’s.
It was originally about $160 but we got it for $50!
Gotta love a great deal!

I am in LOVE with this gray and am thinking about painting our Master Bedroom in this color!
Doesn’t it have a cool, calming effect?!

Just in case you want to know,
Here are the paint colors we used in our kitchen:

“Essential Gray” Sherwin Williams #6002 (for the walls)
&
“Pure Whitet” Sherwin Williams #7005 (for the caninets)

 Happy Monday!
