I wasn’t sure if I wanted to share this video.
I have gone back and forth for some time now.
Cliff was born at 31 weeks.
My labor with him was brutal and he was very “beat up” when he was born.
He could not breathe and was extremely close to losing his life.
The images of his birth are very hard to see.
Ross and I cry every time we watch it because it is so hard to see Cliff fighting for his life.
He was pretty much lifeless when he was born.
I decided to share this video with you because Cliff’s birth is such a HUGE part of his story!
To us, Cliff’s birth story is beautiful because
we watched God perform a miracle right before our eyes.
I pray that as you are watching this video,
you too can see the beauty of Cliff’s birth.
This is Cliff’s birth story:
Cliff still amazes us everyday!
Isn’t God is so good?!

I’m just bawling my eyes out right now. This was beautiful:) And yes God, (Jesus Christ) is amazing!
What an amazing story. The difference in Cliff from his birth photos to the later ones is amazing. What a miracle.
I have tears in my eyes… what a sweet little man you have… he is such a ray of sunshine!
It’s a beautiful story and he’s a beautiful little boy. I love your blog and your family-keep being amazing!!

Love it!
what a beautiful video. Love the song. No wonder you cry when you watch it. I am and I don’t even know you personally. nd for another reason. My granddaughter was born with an apgar of 1. She was a warm body and that was all. Her little heart wasn’t beating. Her Mama went to the hospital with contractions. As they were dismissing her to drive one hour home, just for her to come back inthe morning to have a c-section, she had a contraction called a Titanic. It’s one that doesn’t stop. They grabbed the nearest doctor and did an emergency section . No heart beat and her legs were so badly bent and turned like a frog. The doctor didn’t know what to do. The nurse grabbed her still in all the blankets and ran out of the room by my son that was in shock. She gave her a shot and did CPT. Her little chest was all bruised. I don’t theink she was ever on a vent since it was her heart not her lungs. She went into ICCU for a couple of days. She was the queen there weighing almost 9 lbs. We worried about her and if she would have any difficulties. She is just perfect. The sweetest little girl now 8. She learns a little slower but I don’t know if this is why. God is amazing, isn’t he. I wrote in her scrapbook that “On the day that you were born the angels got together and decided that they would let us have you.” She was born on Palm Sunday and her middle name is Hope.
Cliff is a blessing as well. So cute.
(((((HUGS))))
Natalie- Wow, thanks for sharing! I am a NICU nurse & God has allowed me to watch so many miracles. I feel so fortunate to work with such beautiful babies and their sweet parents. I cried as I watched Cliff’s video, because it a sweet reminder that when these babies go home, they can live a happy life! Thank you so much for sharing your stories with us! I know that God is still right beside Cliff holding his hands! God bless your family!
Tears, tears, and more tears.
Tears for what you all went through and how far you’ve come and tears because it was almost like watching Noah’s birth story. He looked almost the same as Cliff. His head was so misshapen! His APGAR was a 3 as well. But like Cliff, he’s come so far and surprised so many docs. You are so right, God is good, so very good!
What a special family you have. Thank you for sharing the miracle of Cliff. God bless you all.
Thanks for having such a great blog! I look forward to reading it everyday. I just wish I was better at leaving comments

I used to be a patient care tech in the NICU and see preemie babies all the time, but actually putting the baby with the story just makes it so much more real! I’ve been in love with your blog since the minute I stumbled on it over a year ago and I am so excited that we now have a name to go with “baby 3,” can’t wait till she gets here! So excited for ya’ll!

Oh my goodness! That video is incredible. Thank you for sharing Cliff’s (and your) story! God was glorified, even in your suffering at the time, and is being glorified now as you continue to share about the miracles he performed on behalf of your family! So lovely!
I loved the music, too!
