Want to make you very own Rag Wreath WITH Lights?!?
Well then, today’s your lucky day!
I began with a wire wreath that I hopped in my buggy at Hobby Lobby and wound a white strand of Christmas lights around it…
Then I went into my stash of fabric, tulle and ribbon then gathered all of the reds, greens and whites!
I cut the fabric into 4-5 inch strips.
The longer the strip the more “poofy” the wreath!
It’s totally up to you!
Then I tied the strips onto the wreath using a basic knot like this:
Keep tying and tying and tying and tying….
until it looks like this:
Plug it in and enjoy your new Rag Wreath with LIGHTS!
If you wanted to, you could add ornaments to add a fun element to it!
…but mine will have to wait until next year for that!
Yay for lights on super cute Christmas Wreaths!

That is great! I wondered how you made it! Thanks for sharing!
I'm jealous!! Now I want one too!! I'm always looking for ideas to clear out my scrap fabric!!
Thank you for sharing.
Merry Christmas ♥
This is so awesome!!!! I love that it lights up and I love the fabric choices
Merry Christmas, my friend!
So cute! Did you use battery-operated lights??
so cute Natalie!!!!!!! TFS
I just discovered your site…I love the crafts you share. I am a phantom crafter, as I have almost no friends who craft so I am always seeking other crafters. I will visit your site often. I am just learning to use Twitter so even though I am “on” I can’t reply yet, my hope is that I will find many more crafters like you.
Thank you for sharing. In the future, I would love to email pictures of some of my Christmas trees…I do at least two each year and sometimes more.
Most importantly thank you so very much for letting me realize I do not exist in a world where there are no crafters (I always wondered who kept Michaels, JoAnns, and Hobby Lobby in business). You DO EXIST, YOU DO EXIST!
