"Look at me Mommy, I CAN Stand!"

I know I usually write about Cliff on Sundays, but this is so BIG I couldn’t wait!
I walked into Conductive Education to pick Cliff up on Thursday and this is what I saw:
What you are seeing is REAL.
Cliff is starting to stand on his OWN!
Even if it is only for a few seconds at a time, the boy is doing it!

On Friday, Cliff was standing a little bit better!
You can see how hard he has to work to hold his body up in this picture:

God continues to work his wonderful miracles right before our eyes!
I am so thankful that my little boy can teach others so much about the Lord’s good deeds!
We are so blessed to live everyday with Cliff, the biggest inspiration of all!
These moments may seem so small to some, but to us, these moments are HUGE, GINORMOUS, BIGGER THAN BIG! In these moments, Cliff’s life is changing. These are the moments when his brain is making proper connections. These are the moments when he realizes “Yes, I can!”

We can not express how much we LOVE Krisztina. It is the best feeling in the world KNOWING that we are leaving Cliff with someone who loves him and truly cares about him just as much as we do everyday. The connection they have is amazing. She can get Cliff to do things that NO ONE else can! The first thing he says every morning is “Do I get to go to Camp with Ms. Krisztina today?!” and the last thing he says before he goes to sleep every night is “In the morning I get to see Ms. Krisztina, right?!” We will forever be grateful for Krisztina. She is changing Cliff’s life in so many wonderful ways. We can not thank her enough!
And I can not celebrate this moment without glorifying the Lord! He is wonderful. His light shines through Cliff on a daily basis. God is using the Boy as a teaching tool and we could not be more thrilled! Although the path we are on is not always easy or perfect, we will forever be grateful to God for his daily work in our lives. The Lord has taught us so much and we know that with Him by our side, anything is possible. He is our rock and we will forever sing His praises!
Psalm 28:7The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,And with my song I will praise Him.

Not very often, but every now and then I come upon a post where tears flood my eyes, this is one of them. I read about Cliff not long ago in a past post you wrote and I have to say that you have a brave and amazing little guy there. You have got to be so very proud of him. He is precious, he is a gift from God but I'm see you know that. He's also so very lucky to have you.

I doubt that Ms. Krisztina knows what an angel she really is. People like her don't think about that much, they just do what's in their heart and they enjoy doing it. They are so giving and caring and there were more people like that, this world would be so much better off!

Thanks again for sharing this inspirational and celebratory post!
