I recently made Harper a new Bow Holder and want to show you how you can make one too!

When Harper was still in my tummy, I made her a bow holder and I thought “Oh this will hold ALL of her bows forever” … YEA RIGHT….) Before she even had enough hair to even wear a bow it looked like this:
So, I went to the craft store and picked up a wooden plaque and some wooden letters for a few bucks total:
Then I got out my two favorite Krylon “pinks” and…
got to sprayin:
After a few coats and letting the paint dry REALLY well, I had this:
It was cute, but a little plain for my taste, so I got out my trusty No. 2 pencil and dipped the eraser in my favorite lime green acrylic paint to create polka dots on the letters:
While the polka dots were drying, I plugged in my hot glue gun. Once all the paint was completely dry, I glued the letters straight onto the plaque:
And ended up with this:
I got two strips of ribbon and hot glued that to the back of the plaque to hang Harper’s bows on (you can decide the length depending on where you want to hang it and how many bows your princess has… I should have made this one ten feet long at the rate Harper is collecting bows…):
I took another strip of the ribbon and created a bow to hang the hair bow holder on.
Then I hot glued the bow to another strip of ribbon and glued the ends of the second strip to the back of the top of the plaque:
And then I hung it on Harper’s wall right next to her changing table:
I hung the bows she wears now on her new bow holder and sadly, today it is ALMOST full… I think I have a problem… I am a bow hoarder…
Now every time I change Harper’s diapers she points to the bows and says “prebby!” Yep. They are her “prebby’s” and that works for me!

Very "Prebby" bows!
Great holder too. And what a cool tutu – wish I'd had one like that when I was a kid
Her room is way too cute and I love that bow holder. I had a few growing up.
I love that…loving her mobile as well!
oh gosh!! too precious!!
SUPER CUTE. I went out hunting for the all materials because I was going to make two of these PRONTO. However, I'm home with just the spray paint (I may become obsessed with spray paint!) and the plaques…. couldn't find any cute striped ribbon I liked, and I can't find the letters. AH! Still on the hunt, I'll finish this project someday!
That is super duper cute!
So Adorable!! Great job on the polka dots!
Thanks for sharing this idea! I was just thinking this morning that I am going to need something better than the bathroom drawer for my daughter's bows. You make it look easy and I think I will have to try it! Love the polka dot technique with the pencil, too.
These are the crafts that make me long for a little girl.
I would love for you to link up and share this tutorial on my meme!

So cute…wishing my 20 year old daughter was still that age and wore bows! The bow holder and her room are adorable..she's a lucky little girl!
I saw plaques at Big Lots for $3 that would've been perfect for this. I didn't buy them because I couldn't think of something to do with them. Wish I had bought them now.
Really cute! I just sow your linkt at "It's fun to craft", I'm a new follower
Cute and classic! Love the eraser stub for polka dots, great idea! Your whole changing set up is just perfect.
