Summer is in full swing.
The thermometers in our cars read 100 degrees (sometimes higher…).
Afternoon thunderstorms roll in and exit just as fast as they appeared.

Life jackets.

But the life jackets must be worn and that’s that.
Floating the summer days away. Right now that water is the perfect temperature. Not too cold but just cool enough to make you feel alive when you jump in.

They REALLY do love each other and it melts my heart every time I happen to catch a moment like this:
Cliff teaching Harper how to “text.” A true act of love.
This is the ultimate sign that summer is REALLY here:
Soaking up the rays, a favorite summer past time.
The boy is a little fish. He LOVES the pool and I am sure that by the end of this summer, he will be swimming on his own.
