On my kitchen counter lives this cutie:
My mom gave me this horrendous, old, rusted tea kettle that she found:
It is really heavy and was screaming with potential…
So after a little work (inside and out) this is what we have:

I even spray painted the handle to give it a little sprucing up.
And because I know a ton of you will ask, I used Krylon Jade (one of my all time faves)!

Thanks everyone! And yes, this is ONLY for looks… It was all rusty when my mom got it and I will NOT be drinking anything out of it! Although I did spray the inside too!

This is just too cute! I used to have one of these and would fill it with water and put it on my fireplace stove so the water would help hydrate the air in the winter.
