It’s that time of year when our yard looks like a cheesy carnival. Toys are strewn from one end of the yard to the other and then we have a huge inflatable pool/water play center thrown into the mix!… I am sure our
neighbors love us… But with all of the mad chaos that has become our front yard comes friends. Lots of little buddies for Cliff and Harper to play with and that makes me happy, so very happy. I love how this time of year draws everyone outside and for whatever reason seems to draw people together. It’s just beautiful. So, our pool parties go a little something like this:
Babies in bathing suits, nothing makes me happier.
Silly faces.
Lying in the warm sun taking a nap in the arms of one of the sweetest mama’s I know.
Cliff putting handfuls of grass in the pool, which drives me nuts.
First popsicles!
And boys being boys.
Drinking pool water. A true Summer right of passage.
My favorite part is the laughter that fills our neighborhood and knowing that it is all radiating from our front yard.
Looks like fun!! It must be pretty warm there already!
