Ross turned Harper’s car seat around. She is growing. Growing so fast. I was crying, yes I was, but despite my tears, she was so proud to join the “forward-facing big kid’s club!”
“What?! I can actually see where we are going?”
This eager face welcomes me every time I open the back driver’s side door:
And although I wish she wouldn’t grow up so fast, I get to see this when I look into the rear view mirror…
and I smile.

How sweet! We turned our daughter's car seat around a couple of weeks ago/ She has been loven it ever since!
I love reading your blog, so much fun. And I don't want to be one of those annoying people who leave annoying comments, BUT you should check out the new car seat safety guidelines that came out yesterday. They are now recommending kids stay rear facing until they are two years old. Bummer, right? We were counting down the days until we could turn our daughter's seat around… I guess the countdown is now two months + one year.
She's adorable!
I was gonna warn you, too. I was almost shocked when the pediatrician said keep her backwards until age 2. Thank goodness we have tiny ones that still fit (mostly)
Right now it is just a recommendation from the AAP, but I wouldn't be surprised if the laws were to change soon. My older kids are always complaining about their boosters, but I am a stickler for car seats – there are TOO many crazy drivers out there!
I'm itching to turn Baby E around too – mostly b/c I made a really cute cover for her "big girl seat"!
Thank ya'll for letting me know about this! What would I do without my fab readers?! I really appreciate the info!
