The other day I asked Cliff “who’s birthday it is on Christmas?”
I expected him to say “Santa” or “Mine” but instead he looked at me with his “duh face” and replied “Jesus’s!” I just about fell on the floor with joy! I am so proud of him! So I decided that every Christmas, we will make Jesus a Birthday Cake and sing “Happy Birthday” to Jesus! Cliff at only 3 years old, knows that Christmas is not just about Santa and Presents! This makes Ross and I so happy to know that our Children DO hear the Bible stories and Scripture we share with them. I am so thankful that God allows Ross and I to share His words with our children in a way that they can understand and apply to their lives.
I plopped Cliff on the counter (look at how relaxed his legs are!) and we made Jesus a Birthday Cake! He loved mixing, pouring and singing the Christmas Songs that were playing on our local Christian Radio Station!
And here it is all ready to be eaten on Christmas!
